This week, Boise State basketball sophomore guard Kobe Young announced his intention to enter the transfer portal. Another option potentially on the table for Young is joining Spencer Danielson's football program.

Listed by the basketball program at 6'7" and 208 pounds, Young was also an accomplished high school football player in his hometown of Pasco, Washington. 247Sports had him listed as a three-star wide receiver. For the class of 2021, he was the #31 recruit in the state of Washington. Prior to choosing college basketball, Young had football scholarship offers from Army and Division II's Central Washington.

Per KTVB, Young reportedly visited the football team's spring practices last week.

"Young still wants to pursue playing college basketball, but if the Boise State football program has a spot for him, he would consider staying in Boise," Jay Tust's report reads.

Boise State basketball went 22-11 this past season, advancing to the First Four of the NCAA Tournament. Young has mostly been a reserve player for the Broncos, averaging 1.1 points per game this season and 1.1 rebounds per game.

The Bronco football program's spring game is set for April 20.
