REPORT: Marshall Running Back Visiting With Miami Dolphins
Per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Marshall running back Rasheen Ali will visit with the Miami Dolphins sometime in the next ten days.
In 2023, Ali ran for 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging 5.4 rushing yards per attempt. After making Phil Steele's Sun Belt preseason first team, he ended up being named to the Sun Belt's second-team all-conference list at the end of the season.
Ali’s best season came in 2021 when the Marshall Thundering Herd were still a part of Conference USA. Ali ran for 1,401 yards and 23 touchdowns, which was second amongst the conference.

The Dolphins' running back room is currently comprised of Raheem Mostert, De’Von Achane, Jeff Wilson Jr. and Chris Brooks. Mostert recently resigned with the team, but is 31-years-old and Achane will soon take over for Mostert. Bringing in a young running back like Ali provides the Dolphins with more options out of the backfield.
Ali is one of 30 non-local prospects the Dolphins will host prior to the draft. The NFL Draft is set for April 25-27 in Detroit.
