SMU picked up their fifth victory of the season on Friday night, improving to 5-2 overall. Their road thrashing of the Temple Owls also gives them a 3-0 record in AAC play.

To put it bluntly, Temple had no answers for SMU's talent on offense or defense. The night quickly became a highlight reel for the Mustangs who marched to a 55-0 win at Lincoln Financial Field.

These three plays stood out as strong examples of just how one-sided this game really was.

3. Preston Stone 21-Yard Rushing TD

SMU QB Preston Stone is obviously athletic, but he's not one to run the ball all that much. That's changed in recent weeks though, with the Dallas sophomore picking up 25 carries in his last three games leading up to Friday. He finished the Temple win with 25 yards on five carries and picked up his second rushing touchdown of the season.

2. Jordan Hudson Aerial Touchdown Catch

Easily one of the biggest portal pickups in FBS this past offseason, former TCU standout Jordan Hudson had his best game of the season against Temple. The sophomore caught six passes for 82 yards, including two touchdown catches. Hudson was part of a passing attack that totaled 358 yards on Friday.

1. Roderick Daniels Jr. Punt Return Touchdown

Daniels took a low kick from the Owls and rushed it all the way to the end zone from 67 yards out. Temple punted eight times on the night. Just by percentages, it's almost surprising that Daniels didn't have another one in this game.
