#24 Tulane continued their march through the American Athletic Conference on Saturday with a 24-8 win at Florida Atlantic. After four-straight wins by a touchdown or less, Tulane broke that streak thanks to this victory against the Owls.

Now 7-0 in conference play, Tulane await next week's home matchup against UTSA, which will determine who hosts the AAC title game. The other contestant in that contest will largely come down to today's SMU-Memphis matchup.

Michael Pratt's Legacy Grows Even More

Quarterback Michael Pratt became Tulane's career passing yards leader on Saturday. With 8996 yards before the game, Pratt was 21-for-28 through the air for 252 yards against the Owls. That puts his career yardage total at 9248.

Pratt also threw three touchdowns, including one to Chris Brazzell Jr. Brazzell caught seven passes from Pratt for 103 yards on Saturday.

Tulane Defense Steps Up

After holding the Owls to just 32 yards on the ground, the Tulane defense turned in their best performance against the run this season since Week Three at Southern Miss. The 16-point score differential was also Tulane's best since Week Four when they beat Nicholls State 36-7.

Much of the conversation about Tulane's national ranking in the last two weeks has centered around their inability to blow teams out. It seems as though they took this to heart, keeping their foot on the gas, especially defensively, for the entirety of the contest.
