Entering Week 11, three teams from the Group of Five were part of the AP Top 25. Following successful weeks for all three of those teams, two have moved up and one has maintained their ranking.

The Tulane Green Wave have moved up to #17 from #20. Tulane held on against Tulsa for a 24-22 victory. Tulane are 9-1 and 6-0 in conference play to start the season. The rest of their regular season includes a road date against FAU and a home game against UTSA. They'll likely return to the AAC championship game as well.

James Madison University are now up to #18 from #21. The Dukes were dominant in a 44-6 victory over the Connecticut Huskies. JMU continue their unbeaten season at 10-0 and 5-0 in conference play. JMU have a home game against Appalachian State and a road date at Coastal Carolina remaining on their schedule. The Dukes are still currently ineligible for the postseason due to FBS transition rules, but could receive a waiver if not enough eligible teams reach a bowl-eligible record.

Meanwhile in Conference USA, the Liberty Flames remain the #25 team in the nation. Liberty beat Old Dominion 38-10 over the weekend. The Flames are 10-0 on the season with games against UMass and UTEP still to play, in the regular season. Liberty will then play New Mexico State again in the Conference USA championship game.
