2024 will mark Army's inaugural season as a football-only member of the American Athletic Conference. Playing a in a conference is a unique situation for the Black Knights, but playing for a postseason berth and a Commander-In Chief's trophy remain their top objectives.

The full schedule for West Point's 2024 season can be found below. Kickoff times and more broadcast information.

Two Non-Saturday Games in 2024

Army rarely gets non-Saturday games, but they get at least two this season. They'll open the year with a Friday night game at Michie Stadium hosting a Lehigh program that's won two games each of the last two years. They'll also get a Thursday night date with Temple in Philadelphia in late September. Should they make the AAC championship game, that would also be a Friday contest.

UTSA Rematch In West Point

UTSA and Army face off for a third consecutive season in 2024. They've split their previous two meetings with both being one-score games. 2022's matchup at West Point got a little chippy as UTSA managed to get a three-point win in overtime. 2023 saw Bryson Daily lead a near-perfect offensive attack in a 37-29 victory at the Alamodome.

Navy Game Could Determine Bowl Status

The first half of the season, from an opponent standpoint, is challenging, but doable. Four or five wins by November could happen. After that, things get quite a bit tougher with those dates against Air Force, Notre Dame, and UTSA. That's not to mention a North Texas team that in 2023 was inconsistent, but scores a lot of points.

Not that Army needs more motivation to beat Navy, or vice versa, but getting to that six win mark and potential bowl eligibility to could come down whether or not they beat the Midshipmen at the home of the Commanders.
