Later this week, the Navy Midshipmen will continue their preparations for the 2024 football season with the beginning of spring practices. The first practice session will be on Tuesday, March 5. The team will have 15 total practice sessions through April 12.

On April 6, the Midshipmen will have a practice open to the public inside Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. That will serve as the program's "Spring Game."

The Midshipmen will enter their first season with new offensive coordinator Drew Cronic. Cronic was hired earlier this offseason after a successful stint as the head coach at Mercer University.

Navy enter their second season under the direction of head coach Brian Newberry. The Midshipmen went 5-7 in 2023 - their highest win total since 2019. The went 4-4 in American Athletic Conference play. They open the season on August 31 when they host FCS Bucknell.
