Saturday was a day of firsts for UTSA football. Not only was it UTSA's first conference game as a member of the American Athletic Conference, it was also their first AAC win and their first-ever game against new conference mate Temple.

After securing the 49-34 win in Philadelphia, UTSA now prepare for a matchup with fellow conference newcomer UAB at the Alamodome on October 14.

Here were the most noticeable takeaways from the historic win for the Roadrunners.

The Return of Frank Harris

After missing the previous two games due to injury, quarterback Frank Harris was back in the starting lineup on Saturday for the Roadrunners. He returned with a vengeance, totaling 338 yards through the air with an impressive 75.7 completion percentage and three passing touchdowns. It was UTSA's highest passing yardage total of the season. Harris also rushed for a touchdown in this game.

Turnovers For UTSA Made A Huge Difference

This was not an easy win for the Roadrunners by any means. Temple's offense came out firing. Quarterback E.J. Warner did throw 5 touchdowns in this game, which tied his career high and was arguably one of the four best passing performances in Temple history.

The two fumbles forced and recovered by the UTSA defense gave the offense to answer those scores and put the game out of reach. With Temple winning the time of possession battle 35:18 to 22:00, the Owls had their chances to swing this in their favor.

Hello There, Robert Henry

Saturday saw four different ball carriers contribute to UTSA's rushing yardage total. However, it was the best day of junior Robert Henry's college career. Henry joined the team this offseason after transferring from Jones College in Mississippi. The native of Lumberton, Mississippi totaled 78 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns.
