Conference championship weekend is here and once again, the AAC title game could decide the Group of Five's representative in the New Year's Six.

SportsBetting.ag released updated spreads on Wednesday for this weekend's FBS conference championship games. In the AAC, hosts and defending champions Tulane are slight favorites over the visitors, the SMU Mustangs.

AAC Championship Game: SMU @ Tulane (-4)

Both Tulane and SMU reached the title game having not lost to a conference foe yet this season.

SMU will be without starting quarterback Preston Stone, who broke his leg in the win over Navy this past weekend. SMU have the top scoring offense (41.8 points per game) and scoring defense (17.7 points allowed per game) in the league.

The two teams did play one another this season. However, in 2022, Tulane beat SMU 59-24 in New Orleans. SMU leads the all-time series 15-14.

The AAC title game kicks off this Saturday, December 2 at 4 PM ET on ABC.
