Liberty's leading receiver in 2023 has found a new home in the SEC.

CJ Daniels announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers on Sunday. Daniels averaged 19.4 yards per catch during Liberty's CUSA championship season this past year.

In his final season with the Flames, Daniels caught 55 passes for 1067 yards with 10 touchdowns. He had a respectable five games with over 100 receiving yards, including a seven-catch, 157-yard game with a touchdown in the CUSA title game against New Mexico State. 

In Liberty's Fiesta Bowl loss to Liberty, Daniels had eight receptions for 79 yards. 

In four seasons at Liberty, Daniels had 106 catches for 1954 yards with 21 touchdown catches. 

In the class of 2020, Daniels was a three-star recruit coming out of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with Brian Kelly's Tigers.
