The newest member of FIU began his collegiate career at Old Dominion in the Sun Belt conference, but ended up going the JUCO route and transferring to Iowa Central Community College. Panthers' safety CJ Christian and newcomer wide receiver Desna Washington also played at Iowa Central.
Standing at 6'5", and 285 pounds, Ogundipe brings speed to the offensive line and will help protect Keyone Jenkins. He could possibly slot in at right tackle with the departure of Phillip Houston to Colorado.
Ogundipe can play both right and left tackle, which is where you can see some of his speed for an offensive lineman, something that Panthers lacked in 2023.
Ogundipe, is originally from Pennsylvania, as is current FIU offensive lineman Naeer Jackson.
Expect the UTSA transfer to sign in February.
