The Associated Press released their midseason FBS All-America team on Wednesday afternoon. Five players from the Group of Five were peppered amongst the first and second team named selected by a panel of media members who vote each week in the Top 25.

Two were named to the first team, while three were named to the second team - two from the Mountain West, one from the Sun Belt, one from the MAC, and one from an FBS independent not named Notre Dame. 

RB - Ashton Jeanty, Boise State - First Team (All Purpose Player)

Jeanty has carried 151 times for 868 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has caught 30 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns. He's had two games this season in which he has produced over 250 total yards on offense

LB - Jason Henderson, Old Dominion - First Team

Henderson has 92 tackles this season, leading FBS. He's also tied for the national lead with 13 tackles for loss. He's had double-digit tackles in all six games this season.

OL - Christian Haynes, UConn - Second Team

Haynes has started 43 straight games at guard for UConn dating back to 2019. Haynes is the top-graded guard through the first half of the season by Pro Football Focus.

Kicker — Graham Nicholson, Miami (Ohio) - Second Team

The junior from Cincinnati is 13-for-13 this season on field goal attempts this season, including seven-of-seven from 40-plus yards. He is also a perfect 23-of-23 on extra points. Nicholson ranks 11th in the nation in scoring with 62 points.

Edge - Mohamed Kamara, Colorado State - Second Team

The grad student is the current FBS sack leader with 9.5 through three games. Kamara also has 11.5 tackles for loss this season, which ranks in the top five of FBS. He's had multiple sacks in four games this season.
