Saturday's latest bowl slot went to the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl matchup between the Toledo Rockets and Wyoming Cowboys - two G5 programs with proud traditions.

In the end, Wyoming pulled off a fourth-quarter comeback that culminated in John Hoyland hitting the game-winning, 24-yard field goal as time expired. Hoyland was named the game's MVP.

These were the storylines that made the penultimate G5 bowl game of the season one to remember.

Craig Bohl's Final Game

Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl spent the last ten seasons leading the Wyoming football program, amassing a record of 61-60 with the Cowboys. It's somewhat fitting that his final game is the one that puts his Wyoming winning percentage above .500.

Bohl also won three FCS championships with North Dakota state in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

With Bohl retiring, the Head Coach job goes to Cowboys' Defensive Coordinator Jay Sawvel. Bohl exits Wyoming with a 4-2 record in bowl games.

Peasley Power

Wyoming senior QB Andrew Peasley didn't throw a touchdown, but in his final college outing, he had one of his most accurate games of the last few seasons. Peasley completed 20 passes on 25 attempts, an 80% completion percentage, for 168 yards. Peasley completed over 80% of his passes just one other time in games in which he threw more than two passes in college - that includes his four seasons at Utah State.

The Fourth Quarter

Both teams were somewhat stifled offensively, but it was the Rockets who seemed to have the most trouble dealing with their roster vacancies from transfers and opt outs. Some of that experience likely would have come in handy in the fourth quarter. Wyoming scored ten unanswered points in the fourth quarter, including Hoyland's third field goal of the game. The Cowboys averaged 6.5 yards per play in the final quarter. Wyoming's progress on the final drive was helped along by a costly unnecessary roughness penalty on Toledo and cornerback RJ Delancy III.

Regardless, the Cowboys finish the season 9-4, giving them their most wins in a season since winning 10 during the 1996 season.
