Former Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch will soon become the second Husky football player to reach the Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame. 

The conference announced the 2024 Hall of Fame class over the weekend, with Lynch headlining the athlete additions. Lynch was one of three football additions to the hall, alongside former Ohio head coach Frank Solich and former Toledo head coach Nick Saban.

The former Husky signal caller's list of collegiate achievements is exceptionally long, including a 2012 MAC title, a 24-4 record in two seasons as the starting quarterback, and first-team All-America honors in 2013. 

As senior in 2013, Lynch threw 24 touchdowns and rushed for 23. He finished third place in Heisman Trophy voting that season. .

Lynch was also announced as the newest member of NIU's Hall of Fame over the weekend. He set 25 separate NIU football records. 

The former dual-threat QB is currently the head football coach at Chicago's Mount Carmel High School, his alma mater.

The 2024 MAC Hall of Fame class will be inducted on Thursday, May 30.
