MAC Football: Toledo's Mitchell, WMU's Kneeland Invited To NFL Combine

On Tuesday afternoon, the NFL released the full list of players invited to the 2024 Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Fans can tune in for live coverage of the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine beginning Feb. 29 on NFL Network and NFL+.

From the Mid-American Conference, just two prospects received invitations to the event. That honor goes to Toledo defensive back Quinyon Mitchell and Western Michigan defensive end Marshawn Kneeland.

Kneeland finished his WMU career with 13 sacks and 28 tackles for loss. The Broncos' roster had him listed at 6'3" and 275 pounds.

Mitchell is listed at 6'0" and 190 pounds. He finished as Toledo's all-time leader in career pass breakups with 46.

Mitchell is currently projected by multiple national outlets, such as The Athletic and Pro Football Focus, to be selected in the first round of April's NFL Draft. Kneeland is projected by some to be as high as a second-round pick.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit, MI.
