#19 Air Force are still undefeated after their latest victory, which came at the hands of the Colorado State Rams on Saturday. The Falcons are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play.

Air Force also tied a school record with 13 consecutive wins, thanks to this victory.

The Falcons ran their signature offense effectively once again, particularly in the second half. Troy Calhoun's team finished the night with 259 rushing yards on 56 attempts. Emmanuel Michel was the team's leading rusher with 20 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown on the evening.

Colorado State attempted to counter with their passing game. To some extent, it worked. Rams quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi completed 28 passes on 45 attempts for 297 yards and a touchdown. However, it simply didn't translate to enough points. CSU reached the red zone just once on Saturday.

It didn't help the Rams' cause either when they were penalized for fans throwing snowballs at the Air Force bench.

The Rams also lost star receiver Tory Horton to a leg injury early in the second half. The extent of the injury wasn't immediately clear, but Horton was seen walking on the sideline under his own power, albeit gingerly, during the remainder of the game.

The first College Football Playoff rankings of the season will be released on Tuesday evening. Expect Air Force to once again be included in the top 20, possibly even the top 15.

The Falcons' next game will be against a familiar foe in an unfamiliar setting. They'll play Army on November 4 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.
