The Associated Press released their midseason All-America team on Wednesday afternoon. Among the players named to the first team offense was Boise State sophomore running back Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty was named as an all-purpose player.

Jeanty has carried 151 times for 868 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has caught 30 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns. He's had two games this season in which he has produced over 250 total yards on offense.

The 5'9", 210-pounder was a four-star recruit coming out of Texas in the class of 2022.

Jeanty has seen his on-field minutes increase this season due to an injury that has kept Broncos' redshirt senior running back George Holani out of all of Boise State's games this season, except for their season opener against Washington.

A 2022 All-Mountain West Honorable Mention, Jeanty has scored multiple touchdowns in five separate games in 2023.

Jeanty and Old Dominion linebacker Jason Henderson were the only two G5 players named to the first team.

The Broncos are 3-4 to start the season and continue their season on October 28 against Wyoming at home, to be televised on FS2.
