Boise State Football Pushes Back Spring Game To April 20
A note from the Mountain West Conference this week: Boise State has pushed back the start of spring practice, as well as the date of their annual spring game.
The Bronco football program announced this week that their Spring Game has been moved from April 13 to April 20. Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM at BSU's Albertsons Stadium. Their first spring practice session will now be March 11, moved back from March 5.
Per B.J. Rains of BroncoNationNews, the decision was made due to Boise State's ongoing search for a new offensive coordinator. 2023 offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan accepted a position at Kentucky earlier this month.
Boise State will enter their first full season under the direction of head coach Spencer Danielson in 2024. Danielson was promoted from defensive coordinator to head coach in the latter portion of the season following the firing of Andy Avalos. The Broncos won the Mountain West Conference championship with a record of 8-6.
