Fresno State football's career leader in receptions and receiving yards has a new home north of the border.

Former Bulldog KeeSean Johnson has signed a deal with the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders. The team announced the signing late last week amidst a flurry of CFL free agency news.

Johnson was a sixth-round selection by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. He caught one touchdown in two seasons in Arizona. He's since briefly spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, and Buffalo Bills.

At Fresno State, Johnson lit up the Mountain West Conference, earning All-Conference honors in both 2017 and 2018. In his final season in college, he was fourth in FBS in receptions with 95 and sixth in receiving yards with 1340. 

The Palo Alto High School product finished his Fresno State career with 275 receptions for 3,463 yards with 24 touchdowns. 

CFL training camps for the upcoming season are set to open on Sunday, May 14, 2024.
