While he opted not to participate in the on-field portion of last weekend's NFL Combine, Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty seems to have firmly cemented himself as one of the most coveted prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

This week, ESPN NFL writer Field Yates released his updated rankings for the top 32 prospects in this year's NFL Draft class. Jeanty was, unsurprisingly, again ranked by Yates as the top running back in the class and No. 4 overall prospect.

"No running back in this class comes close to his ability to make defenders miss in the hole, run through tackles, make decisive cuts and affect the passing game. We can debate the merits of taking a back early, but Jeanty is a top-five prospect on talent alone." -- Field Yates, ESPN

Jeanty had one of the best seasons by a running back in the history of college football in 2024, compiling 2,601 yards for the second-highest season total ever in FBS. He also rushed for 29 touchdowns, breaking 88 tackles along the way. That, and his clear ability as a pass catcher make him an attractive target for several teams in the first round.

The NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday, April 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
