More Mountain West football looks set for Friday night lights this year.

A report published Thursday by Andrew Marchand of The Athletic stated that FOX will televised primetime college football games every week of the season in 2024. Those games will come from the Big Ten, the Big 12, and the Mountain West.

The matchups that will be moved into those slots are not currently known and likely will not be known until May.

The 2024 Mountain West football schedule is comprised of 42 Conference matchups, in addition to non-conference contests against Oregon State and Washington State as part of a previously announced scheduling agreement. Each Mountain West team will play either Oregon State or Washington State once this season while the "PAC-2" figure out what lies in store for their dismantled conference.

In 2023, UNLV, Air Force, Boise State, and Wyoming were the most watched teams in the conference. FOX televised the league's championship game between the Broncos and the Rebels, attracting 1.26 million viewers. Boise State won that game 44-20.

The first Mountain West games of the season are scheduled for the week of August 24, when Hawaii hosts Delaware State, Nevada plays SMU, and New Mexico hosts Montana State.
