Two weeks into the month of January, the transfer portal news keeps getting wilder.

USC defensive lineman and edge rusher Korey Foreman has committed to Fresno State, per Grant Grubbs of On3.

Foreman was the #1 overall high school recruit in the class of 2021, per On3. He played prep ball at Centennial High School in Corona, California. Foreman was a rotation player for USC each of the last three seasons. He played in three games with one tackle in 2023 and used his redshirt.

2021 and 2022 were much more productive seasons for 6'4", 235 pounder. He made 25 tackles with 2.5 sacks and an interception in his career with the Trojans. The interception was a memorable one, sealing USC's win over UCLA in 2022. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.

With a fresh start on deck up north, Foreman has the chance to live up to his high potential, should he stay healthy, with Jeff Tedford's squad.
