UNLV's impressive start to the season continued on Saturday night with a win that was an emotional rollercoaster for the homecoming crowd.

At the half, the Rebels trailed 13-3. Then at the start of the fourth quarter, they led 16-13. With 1:27 remaining, they led 22-20. Then, with 44 seconds left on the clock, Colorado State's Jordan Noyes connected on a 55-yarder to give the Rams a one-point lead.

At that point, UNLV managed to drive 56 yards in five plays to the ten-yard line. From there, Pizano hit a 28-yard field goal to win the game 25-23 and send his teammates and the home crowd into hysterics.

Throughout the game, Pizano made six field goals on six attempts, tying a school record. The Utah native hit from 42, 43, 25, 34, 46, and 28-yards out.

With the win, UNLV move to 6-1 on the year, earning postseason eligibility for the first time since 2013 and just the second time since 1999. They're doing so in the first season of head coach Barry Odom's tenure.

UNLV's lone loss this season has been to #2 Michigan.

The Rebels are 3-0 in conference play and continue their Mountain West schedule on October 29 when they host Fresno State on FS1.
