In the Bobcats' dramatic season opener, their new-look offense was on display. That led to a huge win over Baylor. Receiver Joey Hobert, who made a viral one-handed catch at a critical juncture, joins today's episode to talk about his play and how San Marcos has become his new home.

Hobert is the son of former NFL and NCAA champion quarterback Billy Joe Hobert. His mother was also a college athlete. The youngest of five siblings, Hobert discusses how his family has influenced his development as an athlete.

Inevitably, the conversation also includes a look ahead to Texas State's matchup against UTSA this weekend as GJ Kinne continues his efforts to take back Texas.

Then, Joe and Eric talk about the newly reshaped AAC, the possible addition of Army, and the most intriguing contests on the calendar this week.

The guys are both curious to see how South Florida responds after their battle with Western Kentucky last week. However, they'll have to battle through a FAMU team that usually comes ready to play. UTEP also travels to Northwestern where they're somehow favored against the embattled Wildcats. It could be a wild one, folks.

Oh, and there's a little matchup between ranked teams at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans on Saturday.
