ESPN+ Will Air Two G5 Spring Games This April

This week, ESPN's Press Room released the company's spring football programming schedule. Among the roughly three dozen spring games scheduled for the brand's family of networks, two are those of Group of Five teams.

Kennesaw State and Georgia Southern will have their respective spring games broadcast on ESPN+.

The KSU Owls will scrimmage on Friday, April 19 at 7 PM. Georgia Southern will do so at noon on Saturday, April 20.

Kennesaw State enter their first season as members of Conference USA and their first season as an FBS program in 2024. They went 3-6 last season under head coach Brian Bohannon. Their first regular season game is scheduled for August 31 at UTSA.

Georgia Southern will enter the 2024 season after a 6-7 record and a 3-5 record in Sun Belt play in 2023. Their season opener for 2024 will be August 31 when they host Boise State.
