The Sun Belt conference looks in for a major coaching shakeup.

ESPN's Pete Thamel posted a report to X on Thursday that the Indiana Hoosiers are looking to fill their head coaching vacancy with James Madison head coach Curt Cignetti. IU fired former head coach Tom Allen earlier this week.

Cignetti led James Madison to a 10-0 start and an 11-1 record this season and a #18 overall ranking in the AP Poll. He was named Sun Belt Coach of the Year earlier today.

Cignetti has been the head coach of JMU since 2019. He has a 19-4 record at JMU since the Dukes have played in FBS. He also has head coach experience at Elon (FCS) and Indiana University-Pennsylvania (DII).

James Madison still has a bowl game left to play. They will find out which one early next week, following the conclusion of conference championship weekend.
