TRANSFER PORTAL: Tennessee Vols Cornerback Headed To Coastal Carolina
As Tim Beck's Coastal Carolina Chanticleers continue preparations for the 2024 college football season, they will add another defensive piece with SEC experience.
Christian Conyer announced his commitment to Coastal on X this week after spending his freshman season with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Conyer appeared in ten games for the Volunteers last season, making one tackle against the Connecticut Huskies.
The 6'1" player will have three years of eligibility remaining. He was a three-star prospect coming out of South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was On3's #3 prospect in the state of Kentucky for the class of 2023.

Coastal Carolina went 8-5 in 2023, Beck's first season as the head coach. The Chanticleer defense allowed an average of 23.8 points per game in 2023.
Their 2024 campaign will begin on August 29 against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on CBS Sports Network.
