NBA HBCU Classic: How To Watch Winston-Salem Battle Virginia Union

The NBA HBCU Classic is returning for the third consecutive year at the NBA All-Star weekend events.

The NBA HBCU Classic is returning for the third consecutive year at the NBA All-Star weekend in Indianapolis on Saturday. Winston-Salem State (16-8, 5-5 CIAA) and Virginia Union (11-15, 5-2 CIAA) will represent the CIAA and receive $100,000 each from the NBA and AT&T to support HBCUs.

The WSSU Rams enter the game in second place in the CIAA Southern Division, touting a 16-8 overall record and a 5-5 mark in the conference. The VA Union Panthers are in second place in the CIAA Northern Division with an 11-15 overall mark and a 5-2 record in conference play.

HBCU alums Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe will join the broadcast coverage with Brian Custer as play-by-play, Grant Hill as color analyst, and Chris Haynes as sideline reporter.

This year's NBA HBCU Classic will air on TNT, ESPN2, and NBA TV for a 2 PM ET tip-off at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, Feb. 17.
