2nd Annual HBCU NY Classic: Morehouse vs. Albany State
HOUSTON - The Morehouse Tigers will return to MetLife Stadium to square-off against the Albany State Golden Rams at 3 PM ET in the 2nd Annual Toyota HBCU New York City Classic presented by Walmart on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Last season, Howard defeated Morehouse 30-0 in the highly successful inaugural event attended by over 35,000 HBCU fans from across the country.
HBCU legends, Spike Lee, and other celebrities were at MetLife Stadium to view the tradition, pageantry, and passion of the HBCU game day coined as the Ultimate HBCU Homecoming Event.
The bands, majorettes, dance teams, cheerleaders, and dignitaries were there to witness a first-class production.
The second installment of the HBCU New York Classic will have two SIAC foes, Morehouse and Albany State, battling live on a CNBC broadcast and streamed on the Peacock Network, and the NBC Sports App.
Tickets go on sale on April 10, 2023, at www.hbcunyclassic.com.
