BATTLE OF THE BANDS

The 50th Bayou Classic was terrific as the Grambling State University's "World Famed Marching Band" and Southern University's "Human Jukebox" headlined the night of performances hosted by Big Tigger. Local area high school bands - McDonogh #35, L.B. Landry, George Washington Carver, and Abramson - were invited to participate in the Bayou Classic Invitational High School Battle of the Bands hosted by Wild Wayne.

Later, the Greek Show with Kool DJ Supamike hit the stage for the fraternities and sororities from HBCU schools.

Once again, a packed crowd of spectators enjoyed the music, dancing, and showmanship of the two legendary bands and Greek organizations.
