HBCU Football Schedule, How To Watch | Week 7

HBCU football games in the SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, and SIAC for Week 7.

HOUSTON — In Week 7 of HBCU football, Benedict showcased their exceptional balance and skill by crushing Fort Valley State 48-6 in front of a national audience on ESPN. Florida A&M and NCCU have bye weeks, while Virginia State will battle Shaw, and Prairie View will take on non-conference crosstown opponent Houston Christian.

In the SWAC, only one game stands out: Jackson State will host Alabama State.  The Hornets are 1-2 in the SWAC East, and another loss may put Coach Robinson on the hot seat in Montgomery.  At Grambling's Homecoming, James "Shack" Harris and Doug Williams will be honored by naming the field after them at Eddie G. Memorial Stadium.

All of the MEAC contests in Week 7 will be non-conference games. Fayetteville State (1-0 CIAA Southern) will face Livingstone (1-0 CIAA Southern) in a match that could determine the winner of the division.
