The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced that HBCU GO has exclusive rights to broadcast five games in the 2023 football season.  HBCU GO becomes the conference's exclusive broadcast partner for its 13 SIAC football programs.

"This is a historic moment," Curtis Symonds, President of HBCU GO said. "The HBCU GO team is excited to partner with SIAC to bring their conference games to a broader audience.  We are committed to bringing the best of HBCU culture and sports to our growing audience and SIAC fans."  He added, "We hope to develop a wide catalog of additional sporting events with the SIAC."

SIAC GAMES SCHEDULED ON HBCU GO

The first SIAC game to be televised by HBCU GO will feature Fort Valley State battling Clark Atlanta at 1:00 PM ET in CAU Panther Stadium on Sept. 9.  Next, Albany State will travel to Kentucky State for a 1:00 PM ET clash at Alumni Stadium on Sept. 30. HBCU GO will also broadcast the following SIAC football games:

  • Miles vs. Benedict at 1:00 PM ET on Oct. 7,
  • Central State vs. Clark Atlanta at 1:00 PM ET on Oct. 21,
  • Miles vs. Albany State at 1:00 PM on Oct. 28.

In the fall, Miles, Clark Atlanta, and Albany State will have three televised matches apiece on HBCU GO.  The network will broadcast only one game with the Benedict Tigers, last season's SIAC football champions led by head coach Chennis Berry.

HBCU GO EXPANDS FOOTBALL BROADCASTS WITH SIAC, SWAC, CIAA, and MEAC

Byron Allen's Allen Media Group (AMG) free-streaming digital platform HBCU GO -- the leading media provider for the nation's 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). HBCU GO will also carry SWAC, CIAA, and MEAC football games in 2023.
