FedEx Ground has announced the finalists for the 2023 Walter Payton Award, a prestigious national recognition given to the FCS Division I football player who demonstrates outstanding offensive skills. Among the finalists are three talented stars from HBCUs.

The winner of this year's competition will be chosen by a national voting panel from a pool of 30 finalists. The announcement of the winner will take place at the FCS National Awards Banquet in Frisco, Texas on Jan. 6.
