It hadn't been a well-kept secret that Jackson State defensive back Shilo Sanders was joining his father, Deion Sanders, and brother Shedeur Sanders at Colorado for the upcoming football season.   He's been at the Buffaloes team's practice facilities and on videos with his father for weeks.  On Saturday, Sanders officially committed to Colorado via a social media video.  Shilo will be a graduate student-athlete wearing the No. 21 at Colorado.

Shilo Sanders completed his degree at Jackson State on May 1. "I'm extremely grateful for my experience here at Jackson State! Ain't nun like an HBCU. Thank y'all for all the love and support," Shilo Sanders tweeted.

Sanders had five interceptions in his tenure at Jackson State. He earned Second-Team All-SWAC honors in 2021 but was injured for several games in 2022. Shilo Sanders was an integral member of the SWAC's top-rated defense who won two SWAC Championships for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

He'll use his final year of eligibility at Colorado before entering the 2024 NFL Draft.
