Willie Simmons: Moussa 'Needs To Settle Down', Displeased With Rattlers 'Immaturity' In First Half

Florida A&M head coach is not pleased with the way his team's maturity ahead of halftime.

Florida A&M has control of the SWAC Football Championship game, leading 21-7 at halftime. However, Coach Willie Simmons voiced his displeasure with ESPN's Lerecia Harris before walking into the locker room for halftime.

"Stop being silly," Simmons told Harris about the Rattlers' fighting Prairie View players. "It's uncharacteristic. It's immaturity. It's not the type of way we played football all year long. So, they're about to get an ass-chewing right now. It's not representative of FAMU."

Jeremy Moussa was not sharp during the first half, completing 7 out of 15 passes for 90 yards. His longest connection was 60 yards to Marcus Riley in setting up the Rattlers' first touchdown in the first quarter.   

Simmons told Harris that Moussa "needs to settle down." He missed some practice leading up to the SWAC Championship game due to a shoulder injury.
