Indiana Baseball All-Time NCAA Tournament Results

Indiana is back in the NCAA baseball tournament. They are 16-19 all-time in NCAA play, dating back to 1949. Here are all the results, including their 2013 run to the College World Series

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Indiana is back in the NCAA baseball tournament in 2024, their 11th postseason bid dating back to 1949.

The Hoosiers are the No. 3 seed in the Knoxville regional this season. They beat No. 2 seed Southern Miss 10-4 on Friday afternoon. Host Tennessee is the No. 1 seed, and also the top overall seed in the 64-team tournament. and the Vols opened play with a 9-3 win over Northern Kentucky. Indiana lost to Tennessee 12-6 on Saturday night, and were eliminated on Sunday in a 15-3 loss to Southern Miss.

Indiana is now 17-21 all-time in NCAA Tournament play. They have only won one regional tournament, with that coming in 2013. The Hoosiers won three straight to take the Bloomington Regional, and then swept Florida State in Tallahassee, Fla. in the Super-Regional, punching their ticket to their one and only College World Series.

The Hoosiers beat Louisville 2-0 to extend their postseason winning streak to a school-record six games. But they lost to Mississippi State and Oregon State to get eliminated. They've played in six regionals since then, but have failed to advance to the second weekend.
