BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana baseball returns to the place it hasn't lost all season, with its mind set on remaining atop the Big Ten standings.

Coach Jeff Mercer's Hoosiers (20-9, 5-1) host the Iowa Hawkeyes (21-6, 1-2) in a weekend series at Bart Kaufman Field, where Indiana boasts a 15-0 record.

Indiana looks to bounce back from a 4-0 loss at Indiana State on Tuesday, when the Hoosiers equaled the Sycamores with eight hits but failed to drive any runs home. In the opposite dugout, Iowa lost a home series against Maryland last weekend, but responded with a win at Bradley on Tuesday.

Entering Friday's first pitch at 6 p.m. ET, Iowa and Indiana own the most overall wins among Big Ten teams, which should make for a competitive series. The Hoosiers are led by shortstop and leadoff man Phillip Glasser, who's batting .397 across 116 at-bats.

Reigning Big Ten Freshman Year Keaton Anthony is having another strong season for Iowa, leading the team with six home runs. And on the mound, Brody Brecht has struck out 59 batters in 33.2 innings with a 2.67 ERA.
