BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Austin Swartz has rescheduled his official visit to Indiana for Sept. 15.

The class of 2024 recruit narrowed his college list to eight in July, and he'll ultimately decide between Indiana, Miami, Clemson, UConn, Florida State, Notre Dame, Georgia and Virginia Tech.

Swartz is a 6-foot-4, four-star shooting guard. He's ranked No. 30 in the nation by On3, No. 40 by Rivals, No. 44 by 247 Sports and No. 49 in the ESPN Top 100.

Other visits include Miami on Aug. 25, Georgia on Sept. 1, Florida State on Sept. 8, UConn on Sept. 22 and Virginia Tech on Sept. 29. He has already taken official visits to Clemson.

“Coach (Kenya) Hunter, I’ve been talking with him a lot lately," Swartz told Tipton. "They do well with North Carolina people; look at Jalen Hood-Schifino. I know we aren’t exactly the same as players, but look what they did with him. They think I can shoot the ball at a high level, and they want me to come in and be the next one they develop for the draft. Coach (Mike) Woodson does a great job getting people ready for the NBA.”

Swartz attends Cannon School in Concord, N.C., just outside Charlotte, and plays AAU on the Nike EYBL Circruit for Boo Williams. He's a score-first guard with impressive 3-point shooting ability. Throughout the current EYBL season, Swartz is shooting 32.8 percent from three, 48.5 percent on 2-point attempts and 84.8 percent from the free throw line.

He's AAU teammates with fellow Indiana recruiting target, Jaeden Mustaf, a top-50 guard who took an official visit to Indiana in June. Both were invited to the NBPA Top 100 Camp this summer.

Indiana currently does not have any commitments in the class of 2024, but coach Mike Woodson and company hosted official visits for Tyler Betsey and Boogie Fland in June and are involved with plenty of highly-ranked 2024 recruits.
