Illinois Fighting Illini

Incoming:

  • Max Williams: Williams appeared in nine games across three seasons at DePaul as a walk-on. The 6-foot-2 guard attended Latin School in Chicago, Ill. before finishing his high school career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. 
  • Quincy Guerrier: After two seasons at Syracuse and two at Oregon, Guerrier will use his final year of eligibility at Illinois. Guerrier is a 6-foot-7 wing with 85 starts and 131 total games played. His most productive statistical season was at Syracuse in 2020-21 when he averaged 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds. Guerrier is a career 31.9 percent 3-point shooter, but he had his best 3-point shooting season, 34.7 percent, in 2022-23 and has improved each year.
  • Justin Harmon: Harmon began his career at Barton Community College in Kansas before playing the last two seasons at Utah Valley. In 2022-23, Barton led the team with 14.0 points per game on 34.0 percent 3-point shooting. Utah Valley won the regular season WAC title and lost in the NIT Final Four.
  • Marcus Domask: The 6-foot-6 wing started 106 games across four seasons at Southern Illinois, averaging 15.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists. Domask was a three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference player and shot 35.9 percent from 3-point range.
  • Keaton Kutcher: The 6-foot-2 guard joins Illinois as a walk-on after two seasons at South Dakota State. Kutcher, a Mount Vernon, Iowa native, played 25 games at South Dakota State and averaged 2.5 points on 48.4 percent 3-point shooting.

Outgoing: 

  • Paxton Warden: The 6-foot-4 guard was a walk-on in 2022-23 as a freshman, appearing in 10 games. Warden went to Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill.
  • Connor Serven: Serven is transferring to Eastern Michigan. A 6-foot-9 walk-on that joined the team before the 2020-21 season, Serven played in 18 games across three seasons. He attended Saint Rita High School in Chicago.
  • R.J. Melendez: Melendez is transferring to Georgia. As a sophomore, Melendez started 18 games and averaged 6.0 points. The 6-foot-7 wing made 9-of-15 3-point attempts as a freshman, but his percentage dropped to 26.4 on 91 attempts as a sophomore. Melendez was a four-star recruit out of Central Pointe Christian Academy in Kissimmee, Fla. and has two years of remaining eligibility.
  • Brandon Lieb: Lieb is transferring to Illinois State. The 7-foot center played a limited role in three seasons at Illinois, appearing in 31 total games. Lieb was a three-star recruit out of Deerfield High School in Illinois.
  • Jayden Epps: Epps is transferring to Georgetown to play for coach Ed Cooley after playing the fourth-most minutes with 11 starts for Illinois as a freshman. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 9.5 points and shot 30.1 percent from 3-point range. Epps was a four-star, top-75 recruit from Combine Academy outside of Charlotte, N.C.
  • Skyy Clark: Clark is transferring to Louisville after leaving the Illinois program 13 games into his freshman season. The 6-foot-3 guard was ranked No. 33 by the 247Sports Composite in the class of 2022 out of Montverde Academy.

Indiana Hoosiers

Incoming:

  • Anthony Walker: The 6-foot-9 forward will use his final year of eligibility at Indiana after four seasons at Miami. Walker averaged 2.8 points in a backup role in 2022-23, but his most productive season came as a sophomore in 2020-21 when he averaged 9.6 points and 4.7 rebounds. 
  • Kel'el Ware: As a freshman at Oregon, Ware averaged 6.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. The 7-footer's playing time decreased as the season went on, but Ware scored 18 points with nine rebounds against UConn and 17 points with nine rebounds against Michigan State in November. Ware was a 2022 McDonald's All-America, ranked No. 8 in the ESPN Top 100, and 247Sports considered him the No. 2 available player in the transfer portal.
  • Payton Sparks: At Ball State, the 6-foot-9 Sparks earned second-team All-MAC honors this year after being named MAC Freshman of the Year in 2021-22. He averaged 13.4 points and 8.6 rebounds with a 56.0 field goal percentage across two seasons. Sparks has two years of remaining eligibility.

Outgoing:

  • Jordan Geronimo: Geronimo is transferring to Maryland. A 6-foot-6 forward, Geronimo played 82 games with six starts in three seasons at Indiana, and averaged 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 2022-23. Geronimo was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 105 in the class of 2020 out of St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H.
  • Tamar Bates: Bates is transferring to Missouri. As a sophomore, Bates played 20.4 minutes per game, primarily off the bench, and averaged 6.1 points with a 37.4 3-point percentage. He originally committed to Texas under coach Shaka Smart, but flipped to Indiana as a four-star recruit and the No. 30 player in the class of 2021 out of IMG Academy.
  • Logan Duncomb: Duncomb is transferring to Xavier. The 6-foot-10 center played 18 total games for Indiana in two seasons, and he underwent surgery for a sinus infection during his sophomore year. He was a four-star recruit ranked No. 73 in the class of 2021 by the 247Sports Composite, and scored a career-high 10 points against Elon this year.
  • Nathan Childress: Childress is transferring to Indiana Wesleyan. The 6-foot-6 forward appeared in 17 games across four seasons as a walk-on. He was an All-State honorable mention at Zionsville High School in Indiana.

Iowa Hawkeyes

Incoming:

  • Even Brauns: The Iowa City native returns home to play for the Hawkeyes after three seasons at Belmont. A 6-foot-9 center, Brauns started 30 games for Belmont in 2022-23, averaging 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks with a 58.3 field goal percentage.
  • Ben Krikke: The 6-foot-9 forward led Valparaiso with 19.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a senior in 2022-23, earning first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors. Krikke started 90 games across four seasons and shot 27.0 percent from three. 

Outgoing:

  • Josh Ogundele: Ogundele is transferring to Middle Tennessee. The 6-foot-10, 275-pound forward saw limited action in three seasons at Iowa. Originally from London, Ogundele played high school basketball at Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, where he was a three-star recruit in the class of 2020. 
  • Ahron Ulis: Ulis is transferring to Nebraska. Starting 27 of 32 games for Iowa in 2022-23, Uhlis averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 assists and shot 31.9 percent from three. The 6-foot-3 guard was a three-star recruit in the class of 2020 out of Marion Catholic in Chicago.

Maryland Terrapins

Incoming:

  • Mady Traoré: The 6-foot-11 forward played in seven games as a freshman at New Mexico State in 2022-23. Traoré was a three-star recruit, ranked No. 237 in the country out of National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Md. 
  • Jordan Geronimo: The 6-foot-6 forward played 82 games with six starts in three seasons at Indiana, and averaged 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 2022-23. Geronimo was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 105 in the class of 2020 out of St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H.
  • Chance Stephens: The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 6.0 points on 37.4 percent 3-point shooting as a freshman. He played 17.4 minutes per game, making four starts and 24 appearances off the bench. Stephens was a two-star recruit out of Polytechnic High School in Riverside, Calif.

Outgoing:

  • Ian Martinez: Martinez is transferring to Utah State. He played 63 games with three starts across two seasons at Maryland after beginning his career at Utah. The 6-foot-3 guard scored 5.7 points on 40.3 percent 3-point shooting during the 2022-23 season. He has two years of remaining eligibility.
  • Brett Karkus: The 6-foot-4 guard played five total games across two seasons at Maryland. Before Maryland, Karkus played at Berkshire School in Sheffield, Mass.
  • Pavlo Dziuba: Dziuba is transferring to High Point. The 6-foot-8 forward played 14 games across two seasons at Maryland. As a freshman at Arizona State in 2020-21, he played eight games. Dziuba was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 111 in the class of 2020 out of Kirichkova, Ukraine.
  • Arnaud Revaz: Revaz is transferring to Weber State. The 6-foot-10 forward from Switzerland appeared in 14 games across three seasons and scored three total points with nine rebounds. Before Maryland, Revaz played for Swiss club JL Bourg and competed in the U-18 European Championships in 2018.
  • Hakim Hart: Hart is transferring to Villanova. He started 85 games for Maryland across the last three seasons, averaging career-highs with 11.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. The 6-foot-6 guard from Philadelphia, Pa. shot 33.3 percent from 3-point range and also declared for the NBA Draft.
  • Ike Cornish: Cornish is transferring to Ohio. After redshirting the 2021-22 season, Cornish played sparingly off the bench this year. A 6-foot-6 guard/forward, Cornish was a four-star recruit out of Legacy Early College in Baltimore, Md.

Michigan Wolverines

Incoming:

  • Olivier Nkamhoua: After four seasons at Tennessee, Nkamhoua will use his final year of eligibility at Michigan. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged a career-high 10.8 points last year, along with 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He shot 44.8 percent from three in 2021-22, but that dropped to 33.3 percent in 2022-23 with increased attempts.
  • Tray Jackson: The 6-foot-9 forward will use his final year of eligibility at Michigan after one season at Missouri and the last three at Seton Hall. Jackson made 18 starts and played in 64 games at Seton Hall, averaging 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds on 38.0 percent 3-point shooting.
  • Nimari Burnett: The 6-foot-4 combo guard Nimari Burnett has already made stops at Texas Tech and Alabama, and is now transferring to Michigan. The former McDonald's All-American was the No. 34-ranked player in the class of 2020. Last season at Alabama, he averaged 5.6 points in just less than 15 minutes per game

Outgoing:

  • Gregg Glenn III: Glenn is transferring to Tulane. After joining Michigan as a four-star recruit, Glenn played just 11 minutes as a freshman in 2022-23. The 6-foot-7 forward from Calvary Christian Academy chose Michigan over offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and USF.
  • Hunter Dickinson: Dickinson is transferrin to Kansas. The 7-foot center has played 94 games at Michigan in three years, averaging 17.2 points a game. They Alexandria, Va., native has scored 1,617 career points and has won five NCAA Tournament games. 
  • Isaiah Barnes: Barnes is transferring to Tulsa after playing just 17 games across two seasons at Michigan. The 6-foot-7 guard was a four-star recruit and All-State Class 4A player out of Simeon Career Academy in Chicago.

Michigan State Spartans

Incoming:

  • None

Outgoing:

  • Pierre Brooks: Brooks is transferring to Butler to play for coach Thad Matta. He made five starts and appeared in 55 total games across two seasons at Michigan State. In 2022-23, he played 14.3 minutes per game and averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds with a 32.4 3-point percentage. The 6-foot-6 guard was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 61 in the class of 2021 out of Frederick Douglass Academy in Detroit, Mich.

Minnesota Golden Gophers

Incoming:

  • Elijah Hawkins: A two-time All-MEAC selection at Howard, Hawkins started 55 games across the last two seasons. In 2022-23, the 5-foot-11 guard averaged 12.9 points, 6.0 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals on 46.6 percent 3-point shooting. He has two years of remaining eligibility. 
  • Jack Wilson: At 6-foot-11 and 325 pounds, Wilson joins Minnesota with one year of eligibility. He played 25 games for Washington State's football team, primarily on special teams and in a reserve role on the offensive line. Wilson switched to basketball after the 2022 football season and played in 14 total games, scoring four points with five rebounds.
  • Mike Mitchell Jr.: Across two seasons at Pepperdine, Mitchell started 63 games and played 33.4 minutes per game. In 2022-23, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 11.4 points, 5.0 assists, 4.1 rebounds and shot 44.0 percent from 3-point range. He has two years of remaining eligibility. 

Outgoing:

  • Jamison Battle: Battle is transferring to Ohio State after playing the last two seasons a Minnesota and his first two seasons at George Washington. At 6-foot-7, Battle has one year of remaining eligibility and averaged 14.4 points on 35 percent 3-point shooting in his career. Battle was an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2021-22.
  • Ta'Lon Cooper: Cooper is transferring to South Carolina. A 6-foot-4 guard, Cooper began his career at Morehead State, where he averaged 8.1 points on 36.6 percent 3-point shooting across three seasons. He started 31 games for Minnesota in 2022-23, averaging 9.8 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and shooting 37.8 percent from three.
  • Treyton Thompson: Thompson is transferring to Stetson. He averaged two points while playing 9.5 minutes per game across 39 appearances in two seasons at Minnesota. A 6-foot-11 center, Thompson was a three-star recruit out of La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind.
  • Jaden Henley: Henley is transferring to DePaul. As a 6-foot-7 freshman guard, Henley averaged 5.3 points on 37.8 3-point shooting in his lone season at Minnesota. He was a three-star recruit out of Ontario, Calif.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

Incoming:

  • Josiah Allick: After three seasons at Kansas City and one at New Mexico, Allick will use his final year of eligibility in his hometown of Lincoln, Neb. A 6-foot-8 forward, Allick averaged 8.4 and 7.3 rebounds last season at New Mexico, but he shot 15.8 percent from three. He averaged a career-high 15.0 points on 35.6 percent 3-point shooting as a sophomore at Kansas City in 2020-21.
  • Ahron Ulis: Starting 27 of 32 games for Iowa in 2022-23, Uhlis averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 assists and shot 31.9 percent from three. The 6-foot-3 guard was a three-star recruit in the class of 2020 out of Marion Catholic in Chicago.
  • Brice Williams: An All-Conference USA player in 2022-23, Williams led Charlotte with 13.8 points per game. The 6-foot-7 wing also contributed 5.3 rebounds and shot 39.7 percent from 3-point range. Williams has two years of remaining eligbility.
  • Rienk Mast: A 6-foot-9 forward from Netherlands, Mast spent the last four seasons at Bradley. He used a redshirt season in 2019-20, then started 79 games across the next three years. Mast led Bradley in scoring and rebounding in 2022-23, averaging 13.8 points and 8.0 rebounds with a 35.3 3-point percentage.

Outgoing:

  • Wilhelm Breidenbach: Breidenbach is transferring to Washington. A former top-100 recruit, Breidenbach averaged 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds across 42 games with two starts in two seasons at Nebraska. The 6-foot-10 forward is a 20.9 percent 3-point shooter on 67 total attempts.
  • Quaran McPherson: McPherson is transferring to Northern Illinois. After redshirting during the 2021-22 season, McPherson suffered a season-ending knee injury in August of 2022 and missed the entire 2022-23 season. The 6-foot-3 guard is originally from Queens, N.Y., but attended Link Year School in Branson, Mo.
  • Oleg Kojenets: Kojenets is transferring to Wyoming. A 7-footer from Lithuania, Kojenets played just 63 total minutes in 18 games as a redshirt freshman at Nebraska in 2022-23. He spent his senior year of high school at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, where he was a three-star recruit in the class of 2021.
  • Denim Dawson: Dawson is transferring to Tennessee State after averaging 1.7 points in 14.1 minutes per game off the bench as a redshirt freshman in 2022-23. He was a three-star recruit out of Castaic, Calif.

Northwestern Wildcats

Incoming:

  • Ryan Langborg: Helping Princeton reach its first Sweet 16 since 1967, Langborg was second on the team with 12.7 points per game. The 6-foot-4 guard is a career 36.3 3-point shooter and has one year of remaining eligibility.
  • Justin Mullins: The 6-foot-6 guard started 27 games as a freshman for the University of Denver, averaging 9.7 points and 3.1 rebounds with a 36.5 3-point percentage. Mullins, an Oak Park, Ill. native, decided to transfer closer to home to play for coach Chris Collins at Northwestern, who made its second NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022-23.
  • Blake Preston: Across four seasons at Liberty, the 6-foot-9 forward started 51 games and appeared in 109 total contests. Preston's sophomore season in 2020-21 was his most productive statistical season, averaging 9.0 points and 6.4 rebounds. An efficient player, Preston shot 66 percent from the field as a senior.

Outgoing:

  • Robbie Beran: Beran is transferring to Virginia Tech after starting 99 games over his four-year career at Northwestern. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged a career-high 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 2022-23. Beran, a career 36.1 percent 3-point shooter, has one year of remaining eligibility.
  • Julian Roper II: Roper is transferring to Notre Dame. He started 15 of 29 games as a freshman, but his sophomore season was limited to 15 appearances off the bench due to injury. A 6-foot-3 guard, Roper averaged 4.1 points on 38.1 3-point shooting across two seasons. He was a three-star recruit out of Franklin, Mich.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Incoming:

  • Evan Mahaffey: During his freshman season at Penn State, he scored 2.8 points per game in 9.4 minutes off the bench. The 6-foot-6 forward was a three-star recruit out of Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Dale Bonner: After beginning his college career at Division II Fairmont State in West Virginia, Bonner spent the last two seasons at Baylor. The 6-foot-2 guard appeared in 60 games with 6 starts for coach Scott Drew, averaging 3.9 points per game. A Shaker Heights, Ohio native, Bonner shot 19.2 percent from three in his first season at Baylor, but he improved to a 37.2 percent 3-point shooter in 2022-23.
  • Jamison Battle: Battle is transferring a second time after playing his first two seasons at George Washington and the last two at Minnesota. At 6-foot-7, Battle has one year of remaining eligibility and averaged 14.4 points on 35 percent 3-point shooting in his career. Battle was an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2021-22.

Outgoing:

  • Seth Towns: Towns is transferring to Howard for his eighth season of college basketball. The 6-foot-8 forward began his career at Harvard during the 2016-17 season, and has missed three full years due to knee and back injuries. Towns was the 2018 Ivy League Player of the Year, averaging 16 points on 44.1 percent 3-point shooting. He did not play during the 2022-23 season.
  • Tanner Holden: Holden is transferring back to Wright State, where he averaged 20.1 points during the 2021-22 season. His one-year career at Ohio State never quite panned out. The 6-foot-6 guard scored 12 points in his Ohio State debut, but he finished the season averaging 3.6 points in 13.6 minutes per game off the bench. Holden is a career 36.6 percent 3-point shooter.
  • Eugene Brown: Brown is transferring to Georgia Southern. The 6-foot-6 guard from Conyers, Ga. played in 77 games and averaged 2.2 points and 1.7 rebounds. He also reached double-figure scoring just three times with his career-high (14 points) coming in an 83-37 win over IUPUI during the 2021-22 season.

Penn State Nittany Lions

Incoming:

  • D'Marco Dunn: The 6-foot-4 guard played a limited role at North Carolina for two seasons. In 10.2 minutes per game, he averaged 2.7 points in 2022-23 and scored a career-high 14 points at Louisville. Dunn was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 68 overall in the class of 2021.
  • Favour Aire: The 6-foot-11 center played 38 total minutes in 14 games as a freshman at Miami in 2022-23. Aire was a four-star recruit, ranked No. 119 in the country out of Bishop McNamara in Forestville, Md. He chose Miami over offers from Georgetown, Georgia, Indiana, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and others.
  • Rayquawndis Mitchell: An All-Summit League player for Kansas City in 2022-23, Mitchell averaged 17.3 points and 3.8 rebounds with a 30.5 3-point shooting percentage. The 6-foot-5 guard has also played at University of Illinois-Chicago and Idaho, and he has one year of remaining eligibility. 
  • Leo O'Boyle: The 6-foot-7 forward played four seasons at Lafayette, where he averaged a career-high 11.6 points and 3.6 rebounds as a senior during the 2022-23 season. Starting 87 games, O'Boyle is a career 37.5 percent 3-point shooter.
  • Qudus Wahab: Transferring for the third time, Wahab is a 6-foot-11 center with one year of remaining eligibility. He played two seasons at Georgetown, one season at Maryland, then transferred back to Georgetown for the 2022-23 season. In 119 career games and 88 starts, Wahab averages 8.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and one block per game with a 56.0 field goal percentage.
  • Puff Johnson: The 6-foot-8 wing averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds across three seasons at North Carolina and scored 11 points in the 2022 National Championship loss to Kansas. Johnson played 16.0 minutes per game with two starts during his junior season in 2022-23. A career 24.7 3-point shooter on 81 attempts, Johnson has two years of remaining eligibility.
  • Zach Hicks: In two seasons at Temple, Hicks averaged 8.3 points off the bench as a freshman, then started all 32 games in 2022-23 and contributed 9.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-7 forward is a career 36.3 percent 3-point shooter on 388 attempts.
  • Nick Kern Jr.: The second player to follow coach Mike Rhoades from VCU to Penn State, Kern started 19 games in 2022-23 and averaged 5.3 points. The 6-foot-6 guard from Saint Louis, Mo. has two years of remaining eligibility. 
  • Ace Baldwin Jr.: On his way to earning 2022-23 Atlantic-10 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors, Baldwin averaged 12.7 points, 5.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals. The 6-foot guard, originally from Baltimore, Md., is a career 34.7 percent 3-point shooter across 80 starts in three seasons at VCU.

Outgoing:

  • Kebba Njie: Njie is transferring to Notre Dame. He averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds while playing 14.3 minutes per game and making 26 starts as a freshman. The 6-foot-10 forward was a four-star recruit and transferred to La Lumiere School in LaPorte, Ind. after beginning at Centerville High School in Ohio.
  • Evan Mahaffey: Mahaffey is transferring to Ohio State. He scored 2.8 points per game in 9.4 minutes off the bench during his freshman season. The 6-foot-6 forward was a three-star recruit out of Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Dallion Johnson: Johnson is transferring to Florida Gulf Coast. After playing his way into the starting lineup for the final 14 games in 2021-22 – including two double-digit games against Northwestern and Nebraska – Johnson's role decreased as a junior in 2022-23, playing 8.7 minutes per game. The 6-foot-3 guard shot 36.5 percent from three as a sophomore, and he was a three-star recruit out of Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass.
  • Caleb Dorsey: Dorsey is transferring to William &Mary. The 6-foot-7 wing started the first five games for Penn State, but saw his role decrease as the season went on, playing 12.0 minutes per game. Dorsey was a three-star recruit out of Pottstown, Penn.

Purdue Boilermakers

Incoming:

  • Lance Jones: The 6-foot-1 guard started 113 games across four years at Southern Illinois, averaging over 13 points in each of the last three seasons. Jones is a career 32.7 percent 3-point shooter and transfers to Purdue with one year of remaining eligibility. 

Outgoing:

  • Brandon Newman: Newman is transferring to Western Kentucky. After using a redshirt season in 2019-20, Newman, a 6-foot-4 guard, started 23 games in 2020-21 and averaged 8.0 points on 37.1 percent 3-point shooting. But over the next two seasons, his minutes, scoring and shooting percentage decreased, and he started just seven games. A four-star recruit out of Valparaiso High School, Newman was ranked No. 80 by ESPN and finished second in 2019 Indiana Mr. Basketball voting behind Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Incoming:

  • Jeremiah Williams: The 6-foot-5 guard started 37 games across two seasons at Temple from 2020-22. He averaged 9.4 points and 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 26.7 percent from 3-point range. Williams transferred to Iowa State last season but did not play due to an achilles injury. He'll need an NCAA waiver to play in 2023-24 as a two-time transfer. 
  • Emmanuel Ogbole: The 6-foot-10 center is making the jump from JUCO to Division I after one season at Monroe College in Westchester, N.Y., where he averaged 12.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 20 minutes per game. Ogbole shot 69.3 percent from the field, 49.5 percent from the free throw line and attempted one 3-pointer. He's expected to be the backup to Clifford Omoruyi, who, like Ogbole, is originally from Nigeria.
  • Noah Fernandes: After one season at Wichita State, Fernandes averaged at least 11 points per game in each of his three seasons at UMass. The 5-foot-11 guard only played 11 games in 2022-23 due to injury, but he averaged 13.4 points and 4.1 assists. Fernandes is a career 37.6 percent 3-point shooter.

Outgoing:

  • Paul Mulcahy: Mulcahy is transferring to Washington. The 6-foot-6 guard made 81 starts and played in 121 games across four seasons at Rutgers. In 2022-23, he averaged 8.3 points, 4.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game. Mulcahy is a career 36.4 percent 3-point shooter, and he'll transfer for his final year of eligibility after withdrawing from the NBA Draft.
  • Cam Spencer: Spencer is transferring to UConn. One of the top transfers in the Big Ten in 2022-23, Spencer averaged 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game. The 6-foot-4 guard has one year of remaining eligibility after playing three seasons at Loyola (MD) and one at Rutgers. He's a career 40.5 percent 3-point shooter.
  • Logan Stephens: Stephens is transferring to Tulane. The 6-foot-2 guard played five total minutes and scored six points across two seasons as a walk-on at Rutgers. Prior to college, Stephens averaged 19.6 points for Woodward Academy outside of Atlanta, Ga.
  • Dean Reiber: Reiber is transferring to Charlotte. A 6-foot-10 forward, Reiber played 6.9 minutes per game across three seasons at Rutgers. He scored a career-high 12 points against Michigan State as a sophomore. Reiber was a three-star recruit out of Greensboro, N.C.
  • Oskar Palmquist: Palmquist is transferring to Elon. His role increased toward the end of the season when Mawot Mag was injured, but he played less than 10 minutes per game in each of his three seasons at Rutgers. Palmquist, a versatile 6-foot-8 forward, was a three-star recruit from Kinna, Sweden.
  • Jalen Miller: Miller is transferring to Oral Roberts after playing limited minutes across two seasons at Rutgers. The 6-foot-2 guard from Frederick, Md. was a three-star recruit in the class of 2021 out of Bishop Walsh School. Rutgers coach Steve Pikiell once called Miller the team's second-best perimeter defender behind Caleb McConnell.

Wisconsin Badgers

Incoming:

  • A.J. Storr: The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 8.8 points for Saint John's as a freshman in 2022-23, starting 17 of 33 games and playing 21.4 minutes per game. Storr, a Rockford, Ill. native, originally committed to Illinois out of IMG Academy as a four-star, top-100 recruit.

Outgoing:

  • Jahcobi Neath: Neath is transferring to Toronto Metropolitan University. He began his career at Wake Forest, where he averaged 4.7 points across 50 games and nine starts. Neath, a 6-foot-3 guard, spent two seasons at Wisconsin, but he averaged below 10 minutes per game and appeared in 26 total games.
  • Jordan Davis: Davis is transferring to Illinois State. He lost his starting job midway through the season, and came off the bench for Wisconsin's final 16 games. Davis averaged 5.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. He was a good defender but shot just 30.8 percent from three-point range and 39.9 percent overall.
