BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – For the second consecutive season, Indiana will host the preseason No. 1 team at Assembly Hall.

Kansas has since dropped a spot to No. 2, but boasts an impressive résumé with wins over No. 14 Kentucky, No. 12 Tennessee and No. 5 UConn. The Jayhawks only loss came against No. 7 Marquette in Hawaii, and Saturday marks their first true road game of the season.

Though Indiana has a solid 7-2 record and got off to an important 2-0 start in Big Ten play, the Hoosiers don't have a nonconference win to hang their hat on yet. They've lost both high-profile nonconference matchups by 20-plus points against No. 5 UConn and Auburn, but have a chance to change that Saturday at home.
