COLUMBUS, Ohio. – Ohio State hosts Indiana Tuesday night at Value City Arena, looking to snap a four-game losing streak

The Buckeyes most recently lost 79-77 at Iowa, and they're in a 1-7 rut since a 71-65 loss at Indiana on Jan. 6. On the other side, the Hoosiers suffered an 85-71 loss at home against Penn State on Saturday, arguably their worst loss in three seasons under coach Mike Woodson.

Meet the coaches

  • Chris Holtmann, Ohio State: Holtmann is in his seventh season at Ohio State with a 136–83 overall record and a 66-62 mark in Big Ten play. In his first five seasons, Ohio State had four top-five finishes in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes have made the NCAA Tournament four times under Holtmann, and likely would have when it was cancelled in 2019. Holtmann's worst record at Ohio State was 16-19 last season. Prior to Ohio State, Holtmann went 70–31 in three seasons at Butler, including three NCAA Tournament appearances. His first head coaching job was at Gardner-Webb from 2010-13, when he went 44–54. 
  • Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 57-35 overall record and a 26-25 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14.
