How to Watch No. 15 Indiana Basketball Against Iowa on Tuesday

Indiana hosts the Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind. Here's how to watch, with game time and TV information, the latest on the point spread, the coaching matchup, series history and more.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana returns home after sweeping the season series against Purdue on Saturday behind 35 points from freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino.

The Hoosiers conclude the 2022-23 Big Ten regular season slate with a pair of home games, beginning with Iowa on Tuesday night. The Hawkeyes defeated Indiana 91-89 on Jan. 5 in a game where Race Thompson injured his knee and Iowa came back from a 21-point deficit.

Indiana is playing as well as anyone in the Big Ten, with wins in 10 of its last 13 games. But Indiana coach Mike Woodson stressed the importance of avoiding letdown during his postgame speech after beating Purdue.

"You cannot go home and not validate what you did tonight," Woodson told the Hoosiers.

McCaffery earned his first head coaching job at Lehigh in 1985 before becoming an assistant at Notre Dame. Three things to watch in Indiana vs. Iowa

1. Defending Kris Murray

Keegan Murray is off to the NBA, but his twin brother Kris is having an impressive season in his own right. Kris led Iowa to a win over Indiana in early January, scoring 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. On the season, he's averaging 20.2 points and 8.0 rebounds with a 33.8 3-point field goal percentage. With the ability to play inside and out at 6-foot-8, Kris is a tough matchup for any opponent.

2. 3-point shooting

Iowa and Indiana have the Big Ten's highest-scoring offenses this season, but they do so in different ways. The Hawkeyes shoot 33.9 percent from 3-point range on 675 attempts, and nearly every player on the court is a threat to shoot. Indiana is third in the Big Ten with a 38.2 3-point field goal percentage, but its 455 attempts are last in the conference by 57. Trey Galloway and Miller Kopp both shoot over 46 percent, but their attempts are limited due to such high volume from Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino, who thrive in the midrange and near the basket.

3. Iowa's approach to Jackson-Davis

Iowa had no answer for Trayce Jackson-Davis in the first matchup, which has been true of most teams this year. He's proven to go for 30-plus points if you play one-on-one defense, and he can burn double-teams with improved passing and ball-handling ability. Filip Rebraca is Iowa's only true post player, which puts a lot of pressure on him to stay out of foul trouble. Jackson-Davis scored 30 points at Iowa in January, and he'll be eager to avenge that loss. Expect Iowa to throw multiple defensive looks at Indiana's star forward.
