BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Race Thompson gave a rare second Senior Night speech on Sunday after Indiana's 75-73 win over Michigan.

Thompson gave a Senior Night speech last season, but he decided to come back for his sixth year in the cream and crimson. On Sunday, Thompson came up big for the Hoosiers, finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds and four steals.

Here's what Thompson said in his Senior Night speech.

"I've been here for a long time. It seems like just a month ago I was a freshman. I made brothers for life with all my teammates in the past, and I just want to say thank you to each and every one of you guys. Y'all are like my family away from home. I've been so far away from home, and thanks to you guys so much for making me like family.

My family, I wouldn't be here without y'all. Y'all are like everything to me, just the daily texts, the texts before the game, all that. I'm not looking over there right now, I can't do it. I love you guys, and thank you for pushing me day in and day out.

The coaching staff, coach Clif, coach Hunter, coach Ya, coach Walsh, coach Woody, everybody, man, thank you for pushing me every single day, for being hard on me when I need it, pushing me and keep on pushing me. I just want to say thank you so much to you guys.

Timmy G and all the doctors, I've been through it with you guys and I would not be standing here, healthy, today without you guys. All injuries, all the concussions, all the – it seemed like it was one thing after another. I just want to say thank you so much.

Then the managers, the senior managers, all the managers, you guys are here every day smiling, making our days better when we come in the gym tired. You guys always pick us up with the energy, and I just want to say thank you for being here day in and day out.

That's all I got. So thank you to the fans, love you guys. I'm a Hoosier for life."
