Indiana Staff Visited Trent Sisley Wednesday, Sisley Plans Unofficial Visit to Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana had a strong presence at Heritage Hills High School on Wednesday.
Head coach Mike Woodson, associate head coach Kenya Hunter and assistant coach Brian Walsh all traveled to Lincoln City, Ind. to visit recruiting target Trent Sisley.
Following the Indiana coaching staff's visit to Heritage Hills, Sisley has another unofficial visit to Bloomington planned for Saturday.
Sisley is a 6-foot-7 power forward in the class of 2025. He's a consensus four-star recruit, ranked No. 48 in the nation by Rivals, No. 56 by 247 Sports, No. 59 in the ESPN Top 100 and No. 75 by On3.
Sisley received his first Division I offer from Purdue on Sept. 29, 2021, and Indiana was second to extend a scholarship offer on Nov. 23, 2021. Since then, Sisley has received offers from Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Central Florida, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
He previously took an unofficial visit to Indiana around this time last year, sharing pictures from his visit on Aug. 2, 2022.
Sisley possesses impressive fluidity at 6-foot-7. He excels most when driving and cutting to the basket, and also appears eager to run in transition. Sisley is not limited to interior scoring, though, as he can knock down catch-and-shoot jump shots from the midrange and beyond the 3-point line.
In 23 games for the Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit in 2023, Sisley averaged 14.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He shot 36.4 percent from 3-point range on 2.9 attempts per game and 69.9 percent from the free throw line, according to a source with Nike EYBL tracking data.
While a college decision from any 2025 prospect is a long way away, Indiana seems to have prioritized Sisley in this class.
