Indiana Fever Having IU Hat Night July 30
The Indiana Fever will be handing out special co-branded Indiana University hats on Sunday, Jul. 30. Fans in attendance can receive the hats if they purchase tickets to the game at this link here.
The hats are crimson colored and sport the Fever's team logo on the front, while the side is adorned with the iconic IU trident.
Grace Berger — the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft and Indiana's all-time winningest player in program history — is featured on promotions for the giveaway, for obvious reasons.
Roughly halfway through the WNBA season, Berger is finally starting to see significant time on the court for the Fever. She's played 14, 36 and 22 minutes in her last three games, respectively, which are the three of the five highest minute totals she's had in any game this season.
In the final game before the all-star break, she exploded for a career high 15 points while also tallying seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
You can watch a full video breaking down all of the ways Berger is contributing on the court for the Fever here below, and can read a full story on her breakout performance here.
The Fever's record currently sits at 6-15, and they are on the outside looking in at the WNBA playoff picture with 19 regular season games to go.
Expect to see Berger on the court for the Fever more going forward, especially on Jul. 30, when the franchise expects to welcome many Hoosier fans into Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
