BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — In Week 18, Indiana women's basketball dropped to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll after falling short of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament title due to Ohio State's victory in the semifinals.

The Iowa Hawkeyes then defeated Ohio State 105-72 to win its third tournament title in five years as it moved up five spots to No. 2 in the poll despite having six losses. Maryland moved down just one slot to No. 6 after getting beat by Iowa in the semifinals.

Before its Iowa loss, Ohio State brought back some life as the Buckeyes first took down Michigan in the quarterfinals 81-79 and then overcame a 24-point deficit to defeat top-seed Indiana 79-75 in the semifinals for a No. 12 ranking this week. The Wolverines round out the conference at No. 18

The NCAA Tournament is just around the corner as Selection Sunday will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET. Indiana should still be a one-seed and around second overall, which means the Hoosiers will host the first and second rounds of the tournament.
