5:45 p.m. — Purdue hits its fourth three-pointer of the half, and the lead is suddenly down to four at 63-59. But Malik Reneau scores over Zach Edey, and the lead goes back up to six.
5:40 p.m. Some idiots in the student section just threw objects onto the floor by the Purdue bench during the under-12 timeout. They've been unruly all day, but that's totally uncalled for. Show some class. This is Indiana.
5:35 p.m. — Purdue on a run and it's down to after Mason Gillis hits a three. it's 55-50 now after Gillis scores on a drive.
5:30 p.m. — A very frantic first five minutes to the second half. Zach Edey gets three easy baskets inside for Purdue with no double team. The lead is down to nine, but Trayce Jackson-Davis is going to the line when we get back from the timeout. Indiana leads 54-45 with 14:56 to go.

5:15 p.m. — A very nice halftime celebration for radio king Don Fischer. This is his 50th year behind the microphone at Indiana. Very well done. It's been an honor to know Don for 46 years now. He's simply the best.
5:05 p.m. — In one of the most enjoyable first halves in recent memory, Indiana goes to the locker room with a 50-35 lead over No. 1-ranked Purdue. The Hoosiers are shooting 62 percent from the field against a very good defense.

4:45 p.m. — The biggest edge that Trayce Jackson-Davis has over Zach Edey is that he can get down the floor much faster. Edey bobbles the ball in the lane and the Hoosiers run. Trayce finishes off the fast break with a dunk. Indiana leads 35-22 with 5:50 to go.
4:35 p.m. — Kaleb Banks providing a lot of energy off the bench for Indiana. Diving for loose balls, and two offensive rebounds already, too. Much needed. Indiana leads 28-18 at the under-8 timeout.
4:28 p.m. — I really do believe Larry Scirotto is the worst referee in the Big Ten. This is such a tremendous game being played at a high level, and he's out there calling all sorts of ticky-tack fouls. Indiana leads 21-10.
4:25 p.m. — Malik Reneau goes to the line for two free throws, and makes them both. Indiana leads 19-10 with 12:42 to go. Largest lead of the game.

3:30 p.m . — Indiana is rearing the 1987 retro uniforms today.
3:25 p.m. — Indiana senior Trayce Jackson-Davis could pass more royalty on Indiana's all-time scoring list today. He's only 20 points behind Alan Henderson for No. 7 on the list, and he's just 28 behind Yogi Ferrell. Here's where he stands, plus the complete list of 1,000-point scorers at Indiana.
3:15 p.m. ET — This is the first of two meetings between the Hoosiers and Boilermakers. The second one is on Feb. 25 in West Lafayette. The two teams split the season series a year ago, and Indiana's win in Bloomington last January snapped Purdue's nine-game winning streak.
3:05 p.m. ET — Indiana junior Jordan Geronimo, who's missed the past two games with a calf injury, is in uniform and warming up. It looks he's good to go, with just wrap on his calf.
