11:08 p.m. — Michigan gets it in, and Trey Galloway fouls Dug McDaniel with 3.9 seconds left on the clock. He misses the first free throw, and makes the second. Indiana inbounds to Galloway and he's fouled with 2.2 seconds to go. He misses the first, but makes the second to make it 78-75. Michigan calls another timeout. Indiana puts Kel'el Ware on the inbounds play and he blocks the pass. Indiana wins.

11:04 p.m. — Indiana gets the ball in to freshman Mackenzie Mgbako, and he's fouled immediately. He makes both free throws, and the lead is 77-74 with 5.7 seconds to go. Indiana calls timeout to sub defenders.

11:02 p.m. — Indiana runs most of the clock out, and gets it inside to Malik Reneau. He misses, but fights for the rebound. The ball goes out of bounds with 6.1 seconds left to go. They give it to Michigan, but the play is under review. It's Indiana ball!

10:57 p.m. — Great post move by Kel'el Ware, and he scores on a little roll to the basket. Indiana leads 75-73 with 52 seconds to go. Michigan calls timeout. Dug McDaniel gets fouled with 35.6 seconds to go, but he misses the first and makes the second. Indiana leads 75-74.

10:54 p.m. — Olivier Nkamhoua hits a contested jumper in the lane, and we're tied again. Indiana calls timeout, so it's 73-73 with 1:14 to go. Nkamhoua has 18 on the night, to lead Michigan. He's been really good.

10:52 p.m. — Dug McDaniel is starting to heat up for Michigan, but they have no answer for Indiana's Malik Reneau either. Good ball movement and Trey Galloway, who's been struggling all night, gets to the rim and scores. He misses the free throw and now Indiana leads 73-71. Kel'el Ware with a big block on the other end.

10:42 p.m. — Indiana gets two straight steals but then fails to convert on run-outs both times. Michigan scores are we're tied again at 66-66 with 4:20 to go. Hoosiers in the double bonus now, and Malik Reneau makes 1-of-2 to give Indiana the lead.

10:34 p.m. — Indiana takes the lead on another three-pointer by CJ Gunn. He was 2-for-28 from three in his career before tonight. Now, he's 2-for-2 tonight!! Huge for Indiana. They lead 60-59 with 7:10 to go.

10:29 p.m. — Kel'el Ware misses the front end of a one-and-one and then Michigan's Dug McDaniel blows past Gabe Cupps for an easy basket on the other end. Mike Woodson needs to call timeout. Michigan leads 56-51 with 9:31 to go.

10:21 p.m. — At the under-12 media timeout now and Michigan is still ahead, leading 51-49.

10:16 p.m. — Indiana has done a nice job defensively on Michigan star guard Dug McDaniel. He's just 1-for-8 shooting and only has four points. He's averaging 20.3 points per game.

10:11 p.m. — We're rolling in the second half now. First media timeout and Michigan leads 47-43. Olivier Nkamhoua has been a problem for the Hoosiers. The Michigan forward has eight second-half points on 4-for-4 shooting.

9:52 p.m. — Indiana's guards have to get it going in the second half. Trey Galloway is 0-for-4 from the field, and Gabe Cupps hasn't even taken a shot yet. CJ Gunn is 1-for-3.

9:49 p.m. — It's halftime now, and we've got a game. Michigan leads 39-37. A little sloppy on both sides. Indiana has 10 turnovers, Michigan nine.

9:39 p.m. — We're at the under-4 timeout and we're tied again, this time at 33-33. Indiana keeps turning it over too much. They've got nine already. Still shooting well though, which is making up for it. At 62 percent.

9:35 p.m. — Michigan on a 6-0 run. It's now 28-27 Indiana. Kel'el Ware picks up his second foul and has to go to the bench. Gabe Cupps ends the run with two free throws for Indiana, and then Mackenzie Mgbako hits a three to make it 33-29.

9:24 p.m. — C.J. Gunn hits a much-needed three-pointer and then gets a steal. Indiana leads 22-17. We're at the under-8 timeout now, and Indiana has its biggest lead so far at seven, 28-21.

9:20 p.m. — Indiana is 6-for-8 from the field, all inside. Michigan is 1-for-5 from three. So yeah, Indiana should shoot more threes.

9:13 p.m. — Indiana really needs freshman point guard Gabe Cubbs to hold his own against Michigan Dug McDaniel tonight. He gets a steal and a breakaway, dropping it off to Kel'el Ware for a dunk. Second media timeout now and Indiana leads 15-11 with 11:49 to go.

9:08 p.m. — At the first media timeout, and we're tied at 9-9. The Hoosiers are 4-for-5 from the floor.

9:01 p.m. — Indiana on the board first, with Malik Reneau scoring inside. Kel'el ties it at 5-5 with an old-fashioned three-point play. The Hoosiers are getting good looks inside. Ware scores again, and Mackenzie Mgbako scores on a drive. IU leads 9-7.

8:55 p.m. — Hoosiers dressed in all red, of course. Michigan going with their all white jerseys today. Never know with the Wolverines.

8:50 p.m. — Michigan has been dealing with some nagging injuries, but it looks like everyone is good to go. Dug McDaniel, Nimari Burnett, Terrance Williams, Olivier Nkamhoua and Tarris Reed get the call.

8:45 p.m. — Freshman guard Gabe Cupps gets his second career start tonight. He'll join Trey Galloway, Mackenzie Mgbako, Malik Reneau and Kel'el Ware in Indiana's starting lineup.

8:35 p.m. — Seems like Indiana is the betting favorite tonight. The point spread started at 7.5 this morning, but it's down to 6.5 now. Thought it was a little high. Here's the history vs. the numbers for both teams this season. CLICK HERE

8:25 p.m. — Had a chance to catch up with popular former Hoosier Race Thompson before the game. Still on crutches after knee surgery a few months back. Says he pays close attention to this year's team and talks with former teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis ''every day.''

8:20 p.m. — No Xavier Johnson again for Indiana. The sixth-year point guard is still in a boot, and in street clothes. Not sure what ''questionable'' means in that injury report.

8:15 p.m. — This is the fifth year of December Big Ten games, and Indiana has only gone 2-0 once in the early games. That was in 2018-19 season when they beat Northwestern and Penn State. They have a chance to go 2-0 tonight, of course, after beating Maryland 65-53 on Friday.

8:10 p.m. ET — Last year's game in Ann Arbor was a blast. Indiana escaped with a 62-61 victory on Feb. 11, 2023. It was the first for the Hoosiers in Ann Arbor since Feb. 2, 2016. Trayce Jackson-Davis tallied 28 points, 11 rebounds, while Jalen Hood-Schifino had 21 points, five assists, and four rebounds.

8:05 p.m. ET — Indiana's Mike Woodson and Michigan's Juwan Howard are in a really small group of former NBA players who are now coaching at their alma maters. In fact, there's only six. Also in the group are Kenny Payne at Louisville, Penny Hardaway at Memphis, Hubert Davis at North Carolina and Speedy Claxton at Hofstra.
