BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Liam McNeeley signed his National Letter of Intent to Indiana University on Wednesday. He verbally committed to Indiana on Oct. 15, but now it's official.

The 6-foot-7 small forward attends Montverde Academy in Florida, and is originally from Richardson, Texas. McNeeley is ranked No. 15 in the nation, making him Indiana's fourth-highest ranked recruit since 2000, behind Romeo Langford, Mackenzie Mgbako and Noah Vonleh.

“Liam is a very smart basketball player who will bring leadership, skill, and high-level shooting to our ball club," Indiana coach Mike Woodson said in Wednesday's press release. "He is a selfless player that will do everything he can to help us win games. His versatility and shooting ability really stood out to our staff throughout the recruiting process. He plays the game the right way, he is a winner, and now he is a Hoosier.”

McNeeley is the only member of Indiana's 2024 recruiting class so far. The Hoosiers made the final three for five-star guard Boogie Fland, who committed to Kentucky in October.

Indiana's top remaining target appears to be five-star center Derik Queen, who is teammates with McNeeley at Montverde. Queen released a final four list of Maryland, Houston, Indiana and Kansas, but it is unclear exactly when he will announce his college decision.
