Opening Line: Indiana Big Favorite at Home Against Illinois on Saturday

Indiana has won and covered in five straight Big Ten games inside the friendly confines of Assembly Hall, and more is expected on Saturday when Illinois comes to town. Here's the latest on the point spread, plus a great history of both teams against the spread.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — It's fair to say that Indiana's 15-point win at Illinois was its best road performance of the year, and now the Hoosiers are looking for a season sweep of the Fighting Illini on Saturday.

Oddsmakers feel comfortable that the sweep is going to happen. The Hoosiers are a whopping 6.5-point favorite in the Noon ET game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The over-under is 143.5.

The line opened at 4.5 points on Friday night, but quickly swung up when it was announced that Illinois standot guard Terrence Shannon Jr. wouldn't play after suffering a concussion on Tuesday night at Penn State.

It's a lot of points, but Indiana has been very good at home. They have won and covered five straight Big Ten games and are 13-1 at home all season, losing only to Northwestern. They cover at home too, going 10-4.

The game starts at Noon ET and will be televised on ESPN. Here's all the information on how to watch, plus a great preview of the game by HoosiersNow.com reporter Jack Ankony. CLICK HERE

One of the highlights of the day will be Indiana star Trayce Jackson-Davis passing his coach, Mike Woodson, for No. 5 on the school's all-time scoring. He only needs six points. Here's the complete list. CLICK HERE
